Obituary of Patricia Francis McGuire

     Patricia McGuire, age 85, of Florence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Boonespring in Union, KY. Pat was born on May 6, 1935 in London, England to the late Cornelius and Mary Hanafin. Pat worked as a nursing assistant at Holy Name Hospital in New Jersey for many years and then retired from working in home healthcare in Sligo, Ireland. She enjoyed spending her spare time ballroom dancing, cross stitching, knitting, and enjoying a cup of tea. Pat also loved a variety of music- especially Neil Diamond. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.

     In addition to her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her ex-husband, John Joseph Caulfield; husband, Tom McGuire; sisters, Maureen Caulfield, Eileen Doyle, and Abby Mangan; brothers, Nalie Hanafin and John Hanafin. Survived to mourn her loss is her daughter, Susan and husband Phill Chapman; her son, David and wife Marcy Caulfield; sisters, Christine Lucey and Kathleen Casey; grandchildren, Maddie Chapman, Mia Chapman, Juliette Hreha, Tina Bartlett, and Tara Caulfield; 7 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives who will forever cherish her memory.
