Obituary of Lowell Thomas Spencer

Lowell Thomas Spencer, age 77, of Walton, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. Lowell was born in Perry County, KY to the late Arlie Spencer and Irene Smith. Lowell did many things in his lifetime, as he was a “Jack of all trades”, but he eventually retired as a machinist. Lowell was a veteran having proudly served his country in the United States Army. In his spare time, Lowell loved to travel- especially to South America and to the western states. He also collected coins, was truly an animal lover, and a member of the American Legion. Lowell is remembered as always being happy, his smile and his singing will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Lowell is preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Spencer and Pete Spencer. Survived to mourn his loss are his loving sisters, Norma Spencer, Sheila Spencer, and Phyllis Schweim; Many nieces and nephews; several cousins; and many other friends and relatives who will cherish Lowell’s memory.
