Obituary of Larry Ray Richardson

     Larry Ray Richardson, of Demossville, KY passed away peacefully just after his 84th birthday on Thursday, December 3, 2020.

     He was born in Kenton County, KY on December 2, 1936; the son of the late Lybran and Dolores Richardson. Larry was a founding member of the Independence, KY police, was a policeman for many years and served as a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Later in his career, Larry worked as a switchman for Cincinnati Bell and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. In his spare time, Larry was a member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge in Union, KY and often enjoyed farming.

     Those who preceded Larry in death include his sister, Donna Bauer and his brother, John Richardson.

     Surviving to carry on the memory and legacy of Larry include his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Faye Richardson; his sister, Chela Kaplan; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

     Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Larry will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Covington, KY 41015.

     In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Larry’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
