Obituary of Rodney Paul Reel

Rodney Paul Reel, age 77, of Walton, KY, passed away Tuesday morning, December 15, 2020 at his residence.  He was a retired Pipefitter for Local Union 392 and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Rodney enjoyed cars, taking road trips, playing with the latest electronics, and listening to Elvis.  He especially enjoyed being around his family, friends and neighbors and was always “the life of the party”!   His parents, Arthur and Beulah Wolfe Reel; grandson, Brandon Dean Reel; and brother, Arthur Reel, III, all preceded him in death.  He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Grizzell (Jimmy), Lori Albers (Dennis), and Paula Reel; siblings, Robbie Reel and Rebecca Thomas (Jeff); grandchildren, Colton Kilgore (Michelle), Parker Rice, Taylor Kilgore, and Alexandra Rice; step-grandchildren, Nicholas Grizzell (Alicia) and Megan Damico (Andrew); great grandchildren, Rhett Kilgore and Noah Rice; step-great grandchildren, Bella Damico, Olive Damico, and Nora Damico; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Visitation will be Friday, December 18, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Piner Baptist Church, 15044 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051with the funeral service beginning at noon at the church.  Due to the current Covid restrictions, face masks will be mandatory, social distancing is encouraged, and capacity will be limited to 50% occupancy.  Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill, KY.  Memorials may be made to the Kenton County Animal Services, 1020 Mary Laidley Rd., Ft.
