Obituary of Richard Anthony Arnold
Richard Anthony Arnold of Florence, age 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Covington, KY on October 4, 1957 to the late Lewis and Kathryn Arnold. Richard was a veteran having proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Richard had a passion for motorcycles and loved to ride his Harley Davidson. He was a hard-working man and enjoyed spending his free time at the American Legion with friends.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his siblings, John Arnold, Lewis Calvin Arnold, Jr., and Joyce Duvall Housely. Survived to mourn his loss is his beloved daughter, Ashia Arnold; siblings, Linda (Eugene) Harris, Beverly (Russell) Banks, Gladys Arnold, and Ernest (Pamela) Arnold; grandchildren, Kylee Jewels, Ja-Mya, and Monae; as well as many other friends and family members who will forever cherish his memory.
A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway Florence, KY 41042. The memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 state restrictions, occupancy will be limited to 50% while still enforcing 6 feet of social distancing and requiring the wearing of face masks. Memorial donations can be made in Richard’s name to the American Legion in Elsmere, 119 Garvey Ave, Elsmere, KY 41018.
