Obituary of Linda Joyce Martin Blocker

Linda Joyce Martin Blocker, age 76, of Union, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 surrounded by her family at her residence.  She was a retired Cashier for White Castle and a member of New Banklick Baptist Church in Walton, KY.  Linda enjoyed watching scary movies, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Blocker; parents, Al & Mary Carpenter Martin; and brothers, David Martin and Stephen Martin.  Survivors include her son, Rick Blocker (Alisha); grandchildren, Lisa Holliman (David), Frances Menefee (Justin), Makayla Carbert, Angel Blocker, and Aidan Blocker; and great grandchildren, Narajah, Ezrah, Warren, Lilah, Micaiah, and Aquiles.  Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy., Florence, KY 41042.  Due to the current state Covid restrictions, face masks must be worn, social distancing will be encouraged, and 50% capacity will be permitted in the funeral home.  Interment will be at Carpenter Family Cemetery in Walton, KY.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45227.  For directions, to view the life tribute video or to leave the family a condolence, please go to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
