Obituary of Brenda Sue Baird
Brenda Sue Baird, age 75, passed away suddenly on January 18, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas. She was born in Covington, KY on January 2, 1946 to the late George and Bonnie Setters. Brenda devoted her professional life to caring for others as a nurse. She retired after 30+ years of service from St. Elizabeth Hospital. Retirement did not slow Brenda down. She learned something new at each birthday milestone. Whether it was golfing in Kentucky or Florida, banjo, Phase 10, or working on the family farm; Brenda was always keeping busy. Many in Boone County will miss seeing her at “Doc and Brenda’s Tomato Stand.” Most of all, Brenda loved spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved animals, Sophia and Shorty.
Those surviving to carry on Brenda’s legacy and light include her beloved husband, Dr. Glenn Baird and family; her children, Christine Graham (Darren), Toni R. Neal, and Ronald “Bill” Neal (Carrie); brother Lewis “Pete” Setters (Darlene), David “Butch” Setters (Jeanne); grandchildren Ben Miller, Felicia Nicolle Brock, Billie Anne Agee, Trevor McCarthy, Devin McCarthy, Taylor Zembrodt, Courtney Graham, Whitney Graham, Logan Graham, and Nathan Neal; along with several great-grandchildren; as well as an abundance of other close relatives and friends. Preceding Brenda in death are her parents; brother, Randall “Dewey” Setters and sister, Bonita Setters.
