Obituary of Thomas Lile Morgan
Thomas Lile Morgan, age 68, of Walton, KY, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. He was the former owner of Morgan Collision Repair in Covington, the current Body Shop Manager at Piles Chevrolet and a member of Taylor Mill Pentecostal Church. His last days were spent growing even closer in his relationship with the Lord. Tommy loved everything about cars including collecting, racing and even won several awards for his accomplished custom paint work. He was also an accomplished musician, playing the bass, and had been a member of the Christian group, Altarways. In his leisure time, he had an affinity for ice cream, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His wife, Brenda Arlene Morgan, parents, James and Eula Lile Morgan, sister, Eulene Wilson, and a grandchild, all preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Brandon Gorman (Laura) and Jennifer Morgan Swafford (Jake); siblings, Bobby Morgan, Mary Lynn Stephens, Beverly Reis, and Tonda Morgan; and five grandchildren, Tanner Swafford, Toliver Swafford, Beckett Gorman, Lennon Gorman, and Nolan Gorman. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. and the funeral service Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Taylor Mill Pentecostal Church, 5336 Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and 50% capacity will be limited at the church. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery, Independence, KY. Memorials may be made to Taylor Mill Pentecostal Church.
