Obituary of Cristobal Padilla Razo

Cristobal Padilla Razo, age 63, of Independence, KY passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Cristobal was born the son of the late Manuel Padilla Flores and Ezperanza Cruz Razo Padilla on January 13, 1958 in Teocuitatlan de Corona, Jalisco, Mexico.

Cristobal worked in logistics at Loreal USA for over 30 years. He will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. Cristobal was always making sure that everyone was taken care of. He was willing to help anyone and everyone with whatever they would need. He also enjoyed traveling, especially all over California visiting family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Felix Padilla Razo and Fortino Padilla Razo.

Cristobal is survived by his loving wife, Ofelia Padilla Toribo; children, Cristobal (Nelly) Padilla, Jr., Fernando Padilla, and Carlos Padilla; five grandchildren, Cristian Padilla, Abigail Padilla, Samantha Padilla, Adrian “Jace” Padilla and Nike Selena Padilla; siblings, Guadalupe Padilla Razo, Jose Padilla Razo, Rogelio Padilla Razo, Alicia Padilla Razo, and Hector Padilla Razo; god-daughters, Vanessa and Melissa Sanchez; and god-son, Heriberto Ramos.

In keeping with Cristobal’s wishes, he will be cremated. A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042. A memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and 50% capacity will be limited at the funeral home.
