Obituary of James Christopher Adkins

James Christopher Adkins, 42, of Middletown, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Hospice of Hamilton. James worked as a mechanic most of his life as he had true a passion for building or fixing cars and his bikes. He was also a very involved member of The Proprietors AMA #3017 Motorcycle Club.  James had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and loved to be outdoors, mostly fishing or camping. His greatest joy were his family and spending time with his kids.

James is preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Adkins; aunt, Jeanette “Nett Nett” Hicks; and his beloved son, Jeremiah Adkins. Survived to mourn his loss are his children, Summer Turner, Christopher Adkins, Adam Adkins, and Olivia Adkins; loving mother, Jane Crider; siblings, Terri Adkins Cooper, Brian Kinnett, and Lisa Lane; grandkids, Liam and one on the way; cousin, Stacy Vargas; niece, Danielle Adkins; as well as numerous good friends and other family members who will miss James beyond measure.

A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Hwy Florence, KY 41042. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and 60% capacity will be limited at the funeral home. The memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family c/o Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home.
