Obituary of Doris Ann Plimpton

Doris Ann Doud Plimpton, age 79, of Independence, KY, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at Highlandsprings of Ft. Thomas, KY.  She was a retired “Secretary” for Aerospace Corporation (so she said) and a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Independence.  Doris was known for loving Jesus, but being a little bit mischievous. She did not have a filter.  She enjoyed working in the yard, doing crafts, visiting with her neighbors, playing Bunko, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Padilla; granddaughter, Jessica Padilla; sisters, Marge Untimelier and Barbara Hayslett; and brothers, Norman Doud and Ted Doud.  Her survivors include her granddaughter, Misty Searcy, greatgrandchildren, Alli McCauley, Savannah Lewis, Kyle McCauley, Jaycee Padilla McCauley, Bryce Rutter, Mazie McGovney, Thomas McGovney, and Raygan McGovney.  She was so loved and will be missed.
