Obituary of Anthony Lynn Cross
Anthony Lynn Cross of Taylor Mill passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the age of 76. He was born on May 3, 1945 in Coral Gables, FL. Lynn was a Vietnam Veteran having proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was also retired after working as a carpenter for many years. Lynn was a simple man. He had a lifetime appreciation for motorcycles and nature, especially wildlife. Lynn was well known as being kind, caring, and giving. He was a tough man with a big heart who was strong-willed and loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren who will miss him beyond measure.
Lynn is preceded in death by his father, Charles Cross and his sister, Rhonda Ann Cross. Survived to mourn his loss is his mother, Mary Louise Cross; sister, Madeline Ledford; loving children, Dion (Kerry Ryan) Cross, Leah (Scott) Ross, and Aaron (Mollie Wheeldon) Cross; beloved grandchildren, Aubrey Masters, Kyli Masters, Riley Cross, Allie Ross, Kaitlyn Trenkamp, Brady Brophy, and Maddison Brophy; great-grandchildren, Daxton, Weston, Bentley, and Baylor; nieces, Nicole McMillan and Shelley Mullins Meier; nephew, Chris Mullins; and many other friends and relatives who will forever cherish his memory.
A visitation for Lynn will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Following the service, Lynn will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Morning View, KY. Memorial donations can be made in Lynn’s name to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
