Obituary of Kimberly Ann Deaton

     Kimberly Ann Deaton, age 47, of Independence, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St Elizabeth Hospital. She was born on January 10, 1974 in Covington, KY.

     Kimberly had a beautifully adventurous personality. She liked to travel, especially to the beach! Kim made many trips to Florida to the beach, but her favorite trip was to Greece. She liked to go out to eat and enjoyed yard sales. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her children and family who will miss her dearly.

     Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Luther Deaton and son, Justin Deaton.

     She is survived by her daughters, Hailey Paff and Alexis Sammons; mother, Donna Darrell Shively; siblings, Deanna Sanders, Stacey (Brian Black) Engleman, Lisa (Tom) Hyden, and Tony (Carla) Deaton; step-sisters, Robin Shively and Kimberly Shively-Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews, many friends, and her cat, Abby.

     A gathering of friends will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 5:00PM until time of service at 7:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.

     In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the family for funeral expenses and for Kimberly’s children through Chambers and Grubbs.  If you wish to donate you may do so electronically by clicking on the red button below. You may also choose to remain anonymous.
