Obituary of Daniel Crosley Baker

     Daniel Baker, age 26, of Independence, passed away tragically from a car accident, Friday, September 3, 2021 in Crittenden. He was an operator for Mubea and a member of Community Family Church in Independence, KY. Daniel was a professional Motocross racer and raced on the national level. His passion started when he was 7 years old. Motocross was a huge part in Daniel’s life, he was very passionate about riding and was a member of the American Motorcycle Association. The most important role in Daniel’s life was being a husband and father. He loved being Denver’s dad more than life itself. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching marvel movies and eating popcorn, going to eat at Jimmy John’s, and finding the best meme’s. He also enjoyed collecting pocket knives and loved pasta with freshly grated parmesan cheese! Daniel was so full of life, his friendly, fun-loving spirit, and wonderful sense of humor will be missed beyond measure.

     He is survived by his loving wife, Leigh Anne Baker; beloved daughter, Denver Rae Baker; parents, Michael and Helen Baker; sister, Michelle Baker; best friend, R.J Cook; sister-in-law, Rachel Sowder; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Mark Thesken; as well as many, many other friends and family who mourn his passing and will cherish his memory.

     Visitation for Daniel will be Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with his funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Daniel will be laid to rest on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Independence Cemetery.
