Obituary of Wilma Saylor

Wilma Wombles Saylor, 73, of Independence, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Grant County, Williamstown. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Lazarus Saylor, died in 1975. A son, Gary Dean Saylor, died in 1951.
Survivors include sons, Alan Ladd Saylor of Independence and Bill Dean Saylor of Dry Ridge; daughters, Lois Jean Ochab of West Chicago, Ill., Joan Kathleen Burton of Bedford, Ohio, Beverly June "B.J." Ashcraft of Owen County and Lila Wilma Pasternak of Lake City, Fla.; brothers, James Wombles of Pineville and Alfred Wombles of Schiller Park, Ill.; sisters, Flo Wombles of Lexington, Thelma Wagers of London and Idella Warren of Pineville; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Wilma Saylor Memorial Fund, in care of Eagle Bank, 230 Violet Road, Crittenden, Ky. 41030.
