Obituary of Evelyn Denton

     Evelyn Denton, age 70, of Florence, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, September 27, 2021 at her home. She was born the daughter of the late William and Geraldene (Paige) Ensley on July 19, 1951 in Redmond, Oregon.

     Evelyn loved to work outside tending to her flowers and her vegetable garden. She was a great cook and enjoyed making delicious meals for her family. She also liked to shop for antiques. She will be remembered as a fun, talkative, outgoing and loving wife, mom, grandmother, and sister.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Felix Denton; sisters, Patty Perkins and Tammy Padgett; and nephews, Brian Perkins and Adam Perkins.

     Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Mike Denton; her children, Kristin Baker, Jessica Denton, and Brandon Denton; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and brothers, Jerry Ensley and Greg Ensley.

     Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 N Main St, Walton, KY 41094. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 10:00AM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery.
