Obituary of Linda G. Hollingsworth Coyle

Linda G. Hollingsworth Coyle, age 74, of Covington, KY, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her residence.  She was a retired LPN at St. Charles Care Center in Covington, KY, and a former Fire Fighter/EMT for the Oak Ridge Fire Department and Independence Fire Department.  Linda was a long-time member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, where she previously served as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, and participated in the Operation Christmas Child ministry.  She was also a member of the Kenton County Homemakers.  Her passions included sewing, cooking, following the Cincinnati Reds, and most of all spending time with her family.  Her husband, Clifford Coyle, great-granddaughter, Adeline Marie Coker, mother, Helen D. Lipscomb, sister, Deloris Curtis and brother, Ronnie Hollingsworth, all preceded her in death.  Left to carry on her legacy are her children, Doug Coyle (Marie) and Kim Ford (Mark); grandchildren, James Coker, Jr. (Connie), Jeremy Coker, Sarah E.E. Coker, Austin Coyle (Sara), and Jonathan Coyle (Zoey); great grandchildren, Abigail Noel Coker, Brayden Richard Coker, Kaleb James Coker, Aubree Adele Coker, Delaney Olivia Coker, Dawson Wade Coyle, Lyric Faith Angelo, and Wesley Allen Coyle; and siblings, John Hollingsworth (Kenny), Jeffrey Hollingsworth (Debbie), Judy Harned (Tom).  Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 6056 Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY 41015.  Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Oak Ridge Baptist Church.  For directions or to leave the family a message of condolence, please go to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
