I just found out of Lynn's going home last night, that is why I am so late in posting. I had moved from NKY years ago and lost contact with many. I am 56 yrs old now and as a younger woman at 29 yrs old, I knew Lynn from Hearitage Academy and Heritage Assembly of God and their home prayer group. She was such a blessing to my boys and I. As I read all the beautiful comments that people had made about her all I could do was cry. All that was said were exactly the types of things I would say. Lynn was as beautiful and loving to one person as she was to all. Her praying for my two Sons and myself never ceased, her steadfast commitment to God, her family which I know she loved with all her heart: her Son Richard & family and daughter Rachael & family & Scott her husband and all (as she always prayed for them and loved them so much) and God's people, and everyone actually.. Lynn's love for people never ceased, her love for God never ceased, there was never a time when she wouldn't take time to pray or encourage you. I remember as I was young going through my divorce and raising my boys, one night in church I was feeling so down and lonely Lynn sitting there beside me put her arms around me and drew me close to her, holding my head on her shoulder and quietly and very peacefully she began praying for me. As she prayed the peace of God enveloped me it was as if the Lord was holding me. Lynn wanted me to know that God was wanting to hold me just like that, She always called God Papa, which encouraged me so much to be able to look at God as He wanted wanted all of us to know Him for the loving Father He is and closeness God wants us all to see in Him as our Loving Heavenly Father. This is what we are to be to this lost and hurting world, the heart and arms and love of Jesus to others who are hurting. Thankyou Lynn for being that for us. You will always be remembered and loved. We will all be together again one day in our Father's house, you were my mentor, my friend and my Sister in the Lord, We love you. Kimberly (Rotheberg) Boggs

She was one special lady! Her impact on my family will forever leave a beautiful imprint. She is the reason we found Heritage academy and ultimately Heritage Fellowship! She and I sat in her office many time and prayed for different people and situations!
She was such a prayer warrior! We are forever grateful and I'll miss her dearly!

Lynn was a wonderful neighbor to us! I loved seeing all her flowers and decorations when I pulled up in the driveway. It was like looking at a Home and Gardens Magazine. I will miss her beautiful personality and love for prayer. She will be missed by our children, Rachel and Nathan. Heaven now has a beautiful angel!

Lynn, thank you for all the joy and laughter we shared together. You taught me how to pray at the drop of a hat and that changed my life. I love your crazy driving stories and your wonderful laugh.

Lynn loved our family like we were her own. Lynn was the heart of Heart of Heritage Academy and the calming voice among us all. The last time I spoke with Lynn she was praying for me as my mom battles cancer. Every time I spoke with Lynn there was always a peace that followed. I love you Lynn and I will miss our talks. -Kristi Capel-Hula and Family

When I was a young wife and mom, Lynn spoke a very impactful affirmation into my life. Her words have echoed in my heart for 25 years and have been a standard in my walk with God and my service to the church and community. She was truly a great and humble woman.

I will always remember Lynn’s wittiness and humor and spiritual strength. Scott, her husband shared with me that for awhile she had been telling the Lord that she wanted to be closer to Him. She is now closer to Him than any of us, and with that we can be comforted, blessed and happy for Lynn. She will be greatly missed and our love for her has only grown stronger during this time, but we know that she is very happy with the Lord. The Lord probably asked her if she would like to go back. I can hear her reply, “absolutely not! Just take care of Scott.” He replied, “I definitely will… enter into the joy of the Lord, welcome home Lynn!” Mike Morrow

I remember going to the office when I was a student just to get a hug from Lynn. She was one of those people that you could literally see the love of Jesus on her face. She has left a huge legacy with the way she shared God’s love with people. So sorry to hear of her passing, but confident she is with Jesus.

Scott and I are so sorry to hear of Lynn's passing. She was one of the sweetest women I ever knew. She and Scott went on the first date with my husband and I and she threw me a bridal shower when we got married. I will always remember her always smiling and so kind and a mighty prayer warrior. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but I know Jesus welcomed her home with open arms. I look forward to seeing her again one day. Love you Lynn

Lynn was so much more than the office manager at Heritage Academy. Lynn was a friend, counselor, prayer partner, stand in Mother or Grandmother, comforter, purveyor of Christ’s love, and so much more! Lynn was always a voice of reason and compassion. She will most definitely be missed but Lynn will never be forgotten. We’ve lost a small but stalwart piece of our cornerstone. Her inspiration and dedication will be her legend that will live on in our hearts!

Lynn always had a sweet voice and a big smile on her face. She would always say to me when I visited at the Heritage school office: "Sharon, come on in and have a seat!" I had the pleasure of attending she and Scott's cell group for 7 years or better. We shared so many good times together. We were also on a prayer team together.
Lynn will truly be missed by so many - children and adults alike!

Lynn was an amazing prayer warrior. We spent many hours in prayer together. Lynn also had a great sense of humor. She made me laugh often. I will miss her. I know she’s dancing on the streets of heaven with Jesus. Love you, Lynn!
