Obituary of Dorothy L. Cornwell

     Dorothy Lee Cornwell, age 84, of Mulberry Florida, formerly of Northern Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Lakeland Hospital in Florida. Dorothy was born the daughter of the late Sim and Ora Hare Owens on August 22, 1937 in Clay County, KY.

     Dorothy was a member of Cherry Grove Pentecostal Church in Williamstown. She loved to garden, going to yard sales and doing crafts. She loved to attend family reunions and sharing old memories and making new. Even if they were right or wrong she always stood by the people she loved. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Although Dorothy had lived in many other states during her life she always considered Kentucky home.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Cornwell; and her siblings, Edna, Sybil, Robert, Golden, Lonnie, and Virgil.

     Dorothy is survived by her children, Sherry Fryar (Tim), Linda house, Terry Gregson, and James Moore; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Jewel and Neva.

     Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:00 until time of service at 1:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 N Main St, Walton, KY 41094. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
