Obituary of Elsie L. Boyer

Elsie Lee Boyer, age 83, of Morning View, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St Elizabeth Hospice. Elsie was born the daughter of the late Alvia and Mae King Pennington in Clay County, KY on June 30, 1938.

Elsie was a member of Community Family Church where she served as part of the Storehouse Ministry for 25 years. She was a quiet and sweet lady who loved to decorate her house. Her greatest joy was flowers. Elsie loved to work out in the yard and tend to her flower gardens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ronnie and Raymond Pennington, Leathie Miller, and Rosanne Gaston.

Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Leon Boyer; her children, Mike Boyer (Vickie), Anita Boyer, and Elaine Boyer; grandchildren, Michael Aaron Boyer, Matthew David Boyer, Amber Cully, and Derek Oliver; great grandchildren, Ashley Vick, Aubree Cully, and Atlas Logan Boyer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
