Obituary of Autumn Marie Sky Ward

Autumn Marie Sky Ward, beloved daughter, sister, and granddaughter, born to Wendy Ward and Eddie Ward on November 14, 2005, left this world suddenly on November 5, 2021, at the vibrant age of 15. She was a sophomore at Newport High School who was full of life and cared immensely for her family and friends, not to mention her beloved cat, Munchkin.

Autumn had several favorite hobbies including spending time with her boyfriend, Omar and playing videos games, most notably The Sims and Bloxburg. She also had a passion for cooking, painting and drawing and going on adventures, hiking and exploring any new interesting places she could find.

Autumn is survived by her parents, Wendy Ward and Eddie Ward; her two brothers, Cody Mardis and Edward Ward; grandfather, Donald “Don” Cheeks; Uncle Jimmy Donaldson, Aunt Bobbi Nienaber and Uncle Robby Nienaber; and Aunt Rickie Ward and Aunt Tonya Ward.

She was preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Virginia Mardis and Melody Mardis; her grandfathers, George Mardis, Earl Mardis and Willie Cheeks; and her Nanny Sherry Ward.

A visitation honoring the life of Autumn will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Autumn will be laid to rest at a private family only burial service.
