Obituary of Margaret Virginia Percival Armstrong

Margaret Virginia Percival Armstrong, age 93, of Walton, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Verona, KY.  She was a homemaker and the oldest living member of First Baptist Church in Walton, KY. 

Margaret’s life was dedicated to her church, her friends and her beloved family.  She is survived by her loving husband (of 74 years), Chester Lee Armstrong; son, Thomas Edward Armstrong (Paula); daughter, Carolyn Sue Roark (Robert); grandsons, Matthew Robert Roark (Jobi) and Michael Andrew Roark; great grandsons, Noah Lucas Roark, Jonah Wesley Roark, and Jude Renzo Roark; and sister, Annabell Percival Hill. 

Her parents, Thomas and Edith O’Neal Percival, and brother, Dr. Calvin Layle Baker, preceded her in death. 

Visitation will be Monday, November 22, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 47 South Main St., Walton, KY 41094.  Interment will be at Walton Cemetery.  Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
