Obituary of Margaret Ellen Presser

     Margaret “Margie” Ellen Kleier Presser, 70, of Lillian, Alabama and formerly of Verona, KY passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 4, 2021 while under hospice care.  Margie was born on November 27, 1951 in Dent, Ohio to the late Milton C. Kleier and Dorothy E. Schubeler Kleier. 

     Margie was a graduate of Boone County High School and worked at the Bank of Kentucky for 26 years.  She was a kind soul who was friendly and gentle towards everyone she knew.  She would always charm you with her quick wit and sense of humor. Margie especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

     Margie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert “Bobby” Lee Presser; daughters, Jennifer (Brent) Spears, Shanda (James) Sweet; granddaughters, Kinzlee Spears, Sophia and Sulley Sweet; nieces, nephews;cousins and many other loving friends who will miss her beyond measure.

     Margie was proceeded in death by her parents; brother, Milton Thomas Kleier, Sr.; sisters, Marita Kleier, Marilyn Lammers, and Marcia Bunte; nephews, Mike Bunte, Mitchell Bunte, and Denny Kleier.

     Margie was a loving aunt to Milton’s sons, Tim, Tom, and Todd; Marilyn’s children, Debbie and Dan; Marcia’s daughter, Michelle.

Margie will be greatly missed and always remembered by the lives’ she touched.
