Obituary of Donald Raymond Poole

Donald Raymond Poole, age 68, of Walton, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY.  He was a retired Warehouseman for L’Oreal USA Inc. in Florence, KY.  Donnie was a passionate fan of UK sports and the Cincinnati Reds.  He also was an avid reader of history and enjoyed painting.  His greatest love though was for his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sarah Allen Poole; sisters, Rose Dawalt, Nell Nantz, and Jean Phipps; and brother, Richard Poole.  Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Hurston Poole; son, Matthew Poole (Erin); and granddaughter, Harper Poole; brother, James Poole; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 4 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 N.
