Obituary of Kevin Gregory Dwyer
Kevin Gregory Dwyer, a resident of Independence, KY passed away unexpectedly following complications from Covid-19 on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the vibrant age of 53.
He was born in Middletown, OH on October 22, 1968, the son of Roger and Caroline Dwyer. Kevin had served in the United States Army and was currently employed as a forklift operator with DHL. In his spare time, Kevin often enjoyed listening to audio books, playing video games and making healing stone jewelry. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren who were the apples of his eye.
Those left surviving to carry on Kevin’s legacy include his loving wife of 18 years, Paula Dwyer; grandchildren, Caden Brown and Cameron Brown; parents, Roger (Kathy) Dwyer and Carolyn Watson; sister, Kelly (John) Harville; niece and nephew, Amanda Harville and Johnathan Harville; 9 cats; 2 dogs; as well as many other close relatives and friends who are now emptier upon his sudden passing.
A Gathering of Friends to celebrate Kevin’s life will take place on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Paula’s uncle, Joe Spahn, will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Kevin’s name to the family for an education fund for Caden and Cameron courtesy of Chambers & Grubbs.
