Obituary of Charles Aloysius Wogenstahl

Charles Aloysius Wogenstahl, 69, of Independence, died Wednesday at his home. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Kenton County Highway Department and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Peace Wogenstahl; daughters, Peggy Lee Gosney of Morning View and Ruth Ann Williams of Murphysburg, Tenn.; a son, Harry Carpenter Jr. of St. Cloud, Fla.; a brother, Robert Wogenstahl of Edgewood; sisters, Marcella Fritz of Park Hills, Catherine Berling and Marry Ann Rofen, both of Erlanger, and Francis Fields of Delhi Hill, Ohio; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Church, Independence. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
