     Geneva Schadler, 90, of Walton, KY passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

     She was born on February 3, 1932, in Independence, KY to the late Harley and Laura {Kinder} Armstrong.

     Geneva was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Independence and enjoyed reading her bible in her spare time. Geneva especially enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     Geneva will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Brenda Schadler, Les Schadler, Willie (Betty) Schadler and Bettina “Tina” (Brenda L. Wright) Schadler; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and sister Nancy Jackson.

     She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Eugene Schadler; daughter Barbara Schadler Swinford; grandson Matthew Schadler; sisters Kay Evelyn Gibson, Virginia Folmer, and Hattie Stephens; brothers Harley Jr., James, Clinton, and Marvin Armstrong; daughter-in-law Janet Schadler; and son-in-law Gary Swinford.

     Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of her service at 1 PM on Monday, February 28, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 11691 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Geneva’s name to the First Baptist Church Missionary Fund at 11691 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051.
