Obituary of Katherine Ann Ayers

Katherine Ann “Sue” Ayers of Verona, age 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2022 while surrounded by her family at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 12, 1944 to the late Clarence and Laverne Seely. Sue retired from Fidelity after many years of working in Customer Service. She enjoyed spending time sewing, reading, and working in her flower garden. Sue loved to spend most of her time outdoors, but most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her beloved family.

She is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Carl Ayers; son, Bob (Patty) Ayers; sister, Linda Freeze; grandchildren, Carrie (Jarett) Bach, Kiely Ayers, and Abby Ayers; one great-grandchild on the way; and many other friends and relatives who will cherish Sue’s memory.
