Obituary of Jack Wilson

Jack Wilson, 85, of Independence, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Highlandspring Nursing Home in Ft. Thomas. Son of the late Cecil Mae {Speagle} and Lester Wilson, Jack was born in Crittenden, KY on September 16, 1936.

In Jack’s spare time, you could find him restoring John Deere Tractors, riding his Gator around, and watching UK Basketball.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his loving wife of 53 years, Alma Wilson.

Those to carry on Jack’s legacy are his beloved children Mike (Connie) Wilson and Jacqueline (Brett) Cade; grandchildren Christie (Addison) Burns, Kevin (Josephine) Wilson, Brittany (David) Hollaender, and Brandt (Jennifer) Cade; and great-grandchildren McKenzie, Madison, Brooklynn, Dustin, Brayden, and Wade.

Visitation will be held between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. Funeral services will begin immediately following visitation. Jack will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery.
