Obituary of Bill Stahl

Bill Stahl of Independence, age 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at his home. He was born on June 15, 1951 in Cincinnati, OH to the late William and Lucille Stahl. Bill retired after working many years as a power plant operator for Duke Energy. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Independence, KY for 11 years. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed fishing, archery, playing cards, and frisbee golf. He also had a good sense of humor. Bill was a husband, dad, and grandpa who will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 44 years, Mary Jo (Brun) Stahl; beloved children, Christina (Scott) Houp, Alexis (Todd) Sarge, Megan (Chris) Wood, and Matthew (Tracee) Stahl; grandchildren, Alyssa, Molly, Kylie, Sophia, and Landon; as well as other friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2021 at 12:00 PM at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.
