Obituary of John Ty Herndon

John Ty Herndon, a resident of Florence, KY passed away suddenly on Monday, May 9, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY at the age of 62. He was born in Pensacola, FL on January 2, 1960; the son of the late John and Merita {Daugherty} Herndon, Jr. John often enjoyed traveling back to Florida to visit family and lay out on the beaches. He also enjoyed going fishing. His greatest joy, however, came from spending time with his children who he loved deeply. Preceding John in death were his parents. Those left surviving to carry on John’s memory include his significant other, Theresa Lake; children, Tyler Herndon, Hunter Herndon and Taylor Herndon; siblings, Cheryl Mills, Francis Allbritten and Melody Beets; as well as other family and friends.
