Obituary of Carolyn Sue Watson

Carolyn Watson, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May, 14, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.  She was born the daughter to the late Woodrow and Mahala Hansen Thompson on December 5, 1942 in Middletown, OH.

Carolyn was a in home care nurse for several years.  She had a sweet loving spirit and was caring mother and friend to many. Although she was hard-headed at times, she was always taking care of others. Carolyn enjoyed writing poems, short stories, and diaries. She also loved to cook, paint, and work in her garden.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren who will miss her beyond measure.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and one loving son, Kevin Dwyer.

Those left here to carry on her legacy are her daughter Kelly (John) Harville; daughter in law, Paula Dwyer; grandchildren, Johnathan Harville, Amanda Harville; greatgrandchildren, Caden Brown, Cameron Brown, and six sisters.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Carolyn’s name are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.

In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes, there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
