Obituary of Evelyn Cooper

Evelyn Cooper of Covington, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 16, 2022, at Rosedale Green Nursing Home. She was born in Pendleton County, KY on August 27, 1941, to the late Virgil and Aleene Cooper. Evelyn retired as a secretary for Western & Southern. She enjoyed reading books- especially romance novels and Amish books. She loved to listen to gospel, Elvis, and country music. She was a sister, aunt, and friend to many. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Charlie Cooper, Bobby Cooper, Wilbur Cooper, and Nelson Cooper, and her sister, Ruth Cain.

Survivors include her brother, Tom Cooper; several nieces and nephews; as well as great-nieces and great-nephews who will cherish her memory. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, Evelyn will be laid to rest at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
