Obituary of Vickie McMillan Brisbin

Vickie McMillan Brisbin of Union, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 19, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, KY. She was born on August 29, 1959, to the late Charles and Mary Frances McMillan. Vickie was currently working as a Market Manager for Drees Homes. In previous years, Vickie worked as a graphic designer, Campus Director, and she also did some life coaching which made her consider going back to school for a degree in psychology. Her jobs led her to experience different cities most of her life. Vickie was a hard worker, and she was truly dedicated and passionate in helping others. She was genuinely a people person. However, the most important person in her life was her beloved daughter whom she was most proud of. Everything she did in her life was for her daughter, Caitlyn, and she always aspired to be the best mom she could. It is safe to say she met that goal of hers. Vickie was a mom, sister, cousin, and friend who will be missed beyond measure for her pure heart of gold. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Gary McMillan and Ronnie McMillan.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Caitlyn Brisbin; brother, Steve (Sherri) McMillan; cousin, Sandy McMillan; her sweet grand-dog, Maeve; several nieces and nephews; as well as other close friends and relatives who will forever cherish her memory. 

In keeping Vickie’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 6:30PM until 9:00PM at Steeplechase Clubhouse, 11301 Grand National Blvd. Walton, KY 41094. Memorial donations can be made in Vickie's name to a charity of your choice.
