Obituary of Leona Pearl Good

Leona Pearl Good of Independence, age 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Pavilion at Kenton in Covington, KY. She was born in Independence, KY on September 8, 1926, to the late, Leslie and Virginia Stewart. Leona enjoyed sewing and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Good; her sons, Frank Good and John Good; daughter, Linda Finley; and her brothers, Bob Stewart, Leslie Stewart, and Henry Stewart.

She is survived by her loving children, Bob Good, Mark Good, and Patricia Creech; 7 beloved grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and her siblings, Gertrude Keltner, Viola Thompson, Frank Stewart, and Joe Stewart.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, Leona will be laid to rest next to her husband at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY. Memorial donations can be made to Berean Baptist Church, 11833 Wilson Rd. Independence, KY 41051.
