Obituary of Stacie L. Wilson
Stacie L. Wilson, 52, of Winter Park, FL passed peacefully into the hands of Jesus on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, after the most fierce and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving brother Micheal G. Wilson and his wife Dyanna (Alley), as well as her “Mimi”, Trudy Alley, sister-in-law, Danielle Alley, and brother-in-law Christopher Alley, her father Everett M. Wilson and cousin Leslee Grizzell. She is also survived by her beloved nephew, Matthew Wilson whom she loved beyond measure.
Stacie was predeceased by her mother, Linda L. Wilson (McKeown), aunt, Laura L. McKeown, aunt, Charalotta C. Naeimi (McKeown) and cousin, Lisa Grizell as well as her paternal grandparents, Everett and Eunice Wilson and maternal grandparents Charles and Bertha McKeown.
Stacie was born in Fort Thomas, KY on January 25, 1970, to Linda and Everett M. Wilson. As a child, Stacie enjoyed spending time with her grandparents, Everett and Eunice Wilson. Her family moved to Orlando in 1982 where she attended local public schools and graduated from Colonial High School. Stacie loved music and along with her cousin Leslee, attended just about every 80’s band concert. She enjoyed telling stories about their adventures in meeting the bands and promoting the concerts.
Nothing gave Stacie more joy than spending time with her nephew, Matthew. The Force was strong with Stacie, and she shared her love of Star Wars with Matthew. They loved spending time together watching the movies and shows.
Stacie had three cats, Anakin, Ibrah, and Vader. Her greatest adventure was the time she rented a huge RV and took her cats on a journey to Kentucky. Stacie loved being at home and longed to return to the quiet country life of Kentucky.
Stacie was a longtime employee of Advent Health as a Revenue Integrity Supervisor. Stacie was highly respected by those she worked with and was always the person who held the answer to every question. It was at her job where she met her best friends, Kathleen Blair and Danielle Farish. She loved her “girls” who were undoubtedly the best friends anyone could call theirs.
