To the entire Hatfield family my deepest condolences for your loss. I am so thankful that my path in life crossed with Chip’s and I will always treasure my memories of him. He told the most amazing and funny stories and shared with me several ‘words of wisdom’ that I will never forget. I will remember him always!! He had a deep faith and is in God’s care in heaven.

Q: What will you never forget about Chip?
A: Words cannot express what a true joy it was to have known Chip. I will never forget his genuine spirit and will forever cherish the memories I have of playing checkers with the ultimate checker champion! Such an absolute blessing and joy it was to not only get to spend time playing the game but interacting and listening to his stories! He definitely filled the room with laughter and smiles!
