I am so grateful for the memories that I got to share with Grandma. She was gone too soon and I wish I had more time with her, but it was wonderful to have been a part of her life. She taught me how to drive, and how to make vegetable soup, and many even more valuable skills. I will miss reading with her, and going on our little Subway dates. Most of all, I will miss talking to her and seeing her each time I come back to town.
I am the oldest daughter of John Kloeker; JoAnn and Mouse’s youngest child. There are many fond memories that I had with Grandma, such as visiting her and Grandpa in Kentucky and Florida, traveling around Germany and Austria with them, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise through Hawaii, having Grandma be a part of my wedding, and seeing Grandma shower her love on my daughters, Charlotte and Sophia.
I will always remember that Grandma was a hugger and I will miss how she greeted us whenever we would visit. She always gave the best hugs, none of the side hugs, or half hugs that many people do. Grandma’s hugs were always full embraces with a long deep squeeze that held on and made you forget about anything else. She would always follow her hugs with a kiss. I will miss her embraces and kisses the most. I love you with all my heart. Rest in peace, Grandma. -Jordan
