Obituary of Wayne M. Victor

Wayne Mickey Victor, age 80, passed away suddenly on February 22, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY.  Born in Covington, KY, Wayne was the son of James and Hazel Victor.

He leaves behind beloved wife Diane Victor [nee Miller]; daughter Michelle Schilling; siblings Terry Victor (Kay), Sandy Victor (Jerry Warfield); grandchildren Rebecca Schilling, Sara Schilling, Megan Marksbury, as well as grandson-in-law Ryan Marksbury.  Additionally, he will be missed by his loving nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents James and Hazel as well as siblings Ronnie Victor, Linda Victor, Glenn Victor, and David Victor.

Wayne retired after a long career as a purchasing manager for the steel industry. He was also an active member of the Taylor Mill Lions Club, First Church of Christ and the Ryland Lakes Country Club. Wayne gave back to his community by volunteering at the Boys Club.  Wayne loved playing and managing softball and did so for many years. He enjoyed spending time with family and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

No formal ceremonies will be held at this time for Wayne, but services will be scheduled for a future date at the convenience of the family.
