Joyce’s name suited her very well because when you saw her you would see & feel the “Joy” of the Lord! She had a very unique way of making you feel special when ever you saw her out. The last time my mother (Eva) & I visited “The Gathering Church” Joyce had just finished the message so as we started walking out the front doors here comes Joyce running out to catch us just to say she saw us there & gave us a big hug. I’m sure she will hear from her God well done thy good & faithful servant, well done! What a blessing it was to have known her. Until we meet again sister Joyce. ❤️

I was her best friend in Ludlow junior high school before she moved away.
years later we ran into each other in a church service we both happen to be in at the same time, we jumped up and down like little kids so happy to see each other and then ran into each other again at our friends funeral

Joyce was a wonderful lady. She had that “sparkle” and everyone admired her. She was a majorette in high school , and I can see her coming down that football field. I graduated from high school with her. She was always at the reunions with a smile on her face and gave the most heart felt blessing before the meal. I will miss her.

Q: What will you never forget about Joyce?
