Obituary of Sheridan Bishop

Sheridan Bishop, 80, of Covington, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Emma {Bailey} and Thomas Ward, Sheridan was born in Ohio on February 13, 1943. She was married to William Anthony Bishop II, he preceded her in death on December 30, 2012. In her spare time, Sheridan enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and watching veterinary shows, as she was an animal lover. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Those left to carry on Sheridan’s legacy are her children, Lisa (Tommie) Jump, Carolyn (Gary) Cooper, Billy (Eva) Bishop, Jason Bishop, and Joshua Bishop; sister Freida Stephenson; grandchildren Thomas, Jason, Samantha, Cody, James, and Melinda; and great-grandchildren Lily and Brantley.

In addition to her parents, Sheridan was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Anthony Bishop II; son Kenny Bishop; sisters Wanda Tate and Dorothy Harmon; and brothers Benny and Tommy Ward.

A gathering of friends will take place on Friday, April 21^st between 11 AM and 1 PM, with a memorial service to immediately follow at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051.
