Obituary of Robert "Tony" Smith
On Friday, April 14, 2023, Robert “Tony” Smith passed away at the age of 56. Tony was born on March 2, 1967, to Willie and Maudean Smith. Tony married Jackie McGraw and they were blessed with a daughter, Mariah Jane, born on November 21, 1996, whom was his greatest pride and joy.
Tony loved fishing and had a tender heart for any kind of animal especially chickens, where he was given the nickname of “Chicken George.” Tony could not bear to see any animals suffer which is why he was never fond of hunting. His favorite hobby was collecting arrowheads in which he had quite a collection.
Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Maudean; 2 brothers Bill and Johnny; and his wife Jackie.
He is survived by his daughter Mariah; his father Willie; brothers Keith, Teddy, and Creed; his two sisters Sherry and Sheilah; and he had several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
