Obituary of Zella Tolley
Zella Delores [Freeman] Tolley, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY on May 15, 2023. She was surrounded by the love of family as she took her final moments on this earthly plane.
Born on August 3, 1961 in Covington, KY, Zella was the daughter of Billy Freeman and Susan [McDaniel] Patton. Surviving to carry on Zella's legacy are her children Karen Freeman and Raymond Freeman; her mother Susan Patton; her siblings Brenda Freeman Mercer, Sandra Colston, Billy Freeman, Jr., Mark Freeman, Jeff (Cathy) Freeman, Timothy (Nina) Freeman; and her grandchildren Elizabeth, Tony, Jayla, Olivia, and Preston.
Preceding Zella in death are her husband, Ray Tolley; her father Billy Freeman; her sister Kimberly Freeman; and her great-grandparents Cora & Ike McDaniel.
Zella will be laid to rest and reunited with Ray in a private ceremony at Grandview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
