Obituary of Josiah Carnes

Our precious baby boy, Josiah Carnes was born and passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on June 9, 2023.  While Josiah was born in Edgewood, KY, his home was Verona, KY.

Josiah experienced the joy of food! When his mom would have certain treats and snacks it made him very happy and active. In his short time with us, he was able to be tenderly held and to feel hugs and kisses. He was so completely and unconditionally loved by his parents, siblings and his extended family.

Josiah is cherished deeply by his father Bryan Carnes, mother Tamara [Rodgers] Carnes, big brother Malachi, and big sister Addie; maternal grandparents John and Tina Rodgers; paternal grandmother Kari Harris and paternal grandfather Bobby Carnes; as well as many cousins, other special relatives and friends.

A private graveside service celebrating Josiah’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Josiah will be laid to rest comfortably at Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
