Brenda Kay (nee: Byrd) Alsip, 72, of Walton, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, KY surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was a retired Hairdresser and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, McKinely and Ethelene (nee: Holcomb) Byrd and husband of 28yrs., Charles Alsip. Brenda is survived by her loving children, Natalie “Sharee” Clark and Jason (Melissa) Alsip. She also leaves behind her lifelong friend, Debbie Wood along with her grandchildren, Kaylah Clayton and Sydney and Weslee Alsip. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Homes, Independence, KY with funeral services to follow at 12:00pm.
