Obituary of Ralph A. White

Ralph Alan White, age 94, passed away July 13, 2023 while residing at Artis Senior Living, Mason, OH.

Jake, as he was affectionately known by all, retired from Cincinnati Bell, where he spent 38 years, following his years in the Army Air Corps. He also was a member of the Bradford Lodge 123 F&AM.

Jake’s passion included his family as well as the great outdoors, that ranged from annual hunting trips to Colorado, to deep-sea fishing in the Florida Keys. These adventures involved his brothers, who he remained close to and active with throughout his entire life.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce (Poole), of 62 years; parents Bob and Alma; brothers Freddie and Jessie; as well as sister Libby. Survivors include his children, Beverly(Joel), Kathy(Dennis), and Jeff(Jennifer), as well as brothers Robert and Billy; and six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

A visitation will be held for Jake at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY, 41051 on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM until shortly before the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, also to be held at the funeral home. Directly following the funeral service, Jake will be laid to rest with military honors at Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
