Obituary of Alice Beach

Alice Geraldine Hicks Beach, 62, of Morning View, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a member of Morning View Methodist Church. Survivors include sons, Jeff A. Rice of Alexandria, Gregory T. Rice of Independence and Kirby G. Davis of Florence; daughters, Tonya M. Evans and Edna R. Sorrell, both of Morning View; brothers, Clarkie Hicks and Kenny Hicks, both of Demossville, Jim Hicks of Morning View, Bob Hicks of Cincinnati, Spurge Hicks of Milford, Ohio, and Ralph Hicks of Brooksville; a sister, Laverne Berkemeier of Morning View; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wilmington Cemetery.
