Jack is our nephew - his Mom was my sister Dorothy (I'm Aunt Barbara). Jack overcame trials in early life and ended up with a beautiful wife and daughter (Karen and Kelsey), a wonderful family. Jack was a warm, funny, lovable person and we always had a great time when we visited. He was a hard worker - even in high school he had one or two jobs at all times. We are so shocked and sad at his abrupt and too-soon end. But we know Jack has not died but has entered into Eternal Life and we'll all be together again someday. But we miss him terribly now!

Well this Is hard, we are all shook to the core with Jack’s passing. Maria and I send/share our deepest condolences with Karen, Kelsey and Family. Jack was rightfully very proud of you Kelsey, he knows what a great life you have ahead of yourself. Maria and I have had the pleasure of being Friends with Karen and Jack since the early 90’s. All part of the semi dysfunctional Delta Family. Back in the day our biggest concern was making happy after work (we did). Girlfriends became wives, children followed and life became serious. Jack and Scott to their credit always kept that friendship and connection, we still got together (big occasions/small occasions) we just had kids underfoot. To Karen and Michelle’s credit they were always gracious opening your homes to the “crew”. So many great memories so many laughs and good times. Jack was at our house recently, he had gone to see Cubs/Reds and stopped for a beer. Typical fashion he busted my chops around PIT sports and “reminded” me why ORD is better. Then as he always did he asked about our Family , Maria’s Mom, my Mom, my sisters, our boys. That is Jack, rough and tough exterior, heart of gold when he was leaving our house Dave Rossi gave Jack a big man hug, I wish I had. Maria and I will miss you JackO. God bless.

I worked with Jack for over 10 years and have known him for almost 27. I'm going to miss one of my fellow Chicagoans and dear Cubs fans. Such a fun guy to be around, especially when we we're winning!
