Teddie Jones left her earthly home to be with the Lord on December 12th, 2023. She was born on September 6th, 1929 to Herbert and Jessie Abbott in Kilmore, Australia. Teddie was one of sixteen children and often spoke of her family and her homeland.

Teddie was a member of Big Bone Baptist Church, and her faith was extremely important to her. She enjoyed gospel music, especially when her husband Reuben was singing with his quartet. Teddie also spent much of her time knitting, crocheting, and quilting. She knitted all her life and would knit hats and scarves for everyone she knew in her senior living community. Above all else, she loved her kids and the large family they had grown to be. Teddie was quite proud of them all.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Reuben Jones; son Michael “Tony” Hagedorn; daughter Victoria “Vicki” Haley; grandson Jason “Jay” Carman; parents Herbert and Jessie; and all fifteen of her siblings.

Teddie is survived by her children, Jessica Mastronardo, Kate Harvey, Brian Hagedorn, Maria (Jim) Sesher, and Eric Hagedorn; grandchildren, Aaron, Kevin, Chris, Josh, Brooke, Sarah, Derek, Maggie, Kc, Abby, Elaina, and Lily; 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 12 Noon on Saturday, December 16th at Big Bone Baptist Church, 11036 Big Bone Church Rd. in Union, KY 41091. The service will follow the visitation at 12 Noon. Burial will follow the service at Big Bone Cemetery.
