Obituary of Rebecca Jo Lucas

Rebecca Jo Cheeseman Lucas, 56, of Dayton, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a machine operator with Clippard Tool Industry, Cincinnati, and a member of Morning View Methodist Church. Her first husband, Robert Piercefield, died in 1981. Her second husband, William Lucas, died in 1993. Sons, Billy Jo Piercefield and Bobby Jo Piercefield, both died in 1976. Survivors include a daughter, Tammi Jo Naylor of Goshen, Ohio; sons, Wade Hubbard of Dayton and Chris Hubbard of Cincinnati; a stepdaughter, Tracy King of Berry; a stepson, Mike Piercefield of Florence; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cheeseman; sisters, Cynthia Scott and Jody Cheeseman, both of Morning View; brothers, Gary Ray Cheeseman and Joey Cheeseman, both of Morning View; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Rebecca Lucas Memorial Fund, in care of U.S. Bank, 5262 Madison Pike, Independence, Ky. 41051.
